I've been using Yahoo calendar until the Pre2/Google thing gets sorted out.

I have two problems:

1. I cannot sync with the Pre 2 at all, it either shows syncing accounts very briefly or for hours, account deleted, phone reset, nothing.

2. As a result of Google and #1, I've been carrying around a Pixi for my calendar. Except that now has stopped syncing. No events are transferring from the Pixi to the web or web to the Pixi. I've tried manually syncing.

My Yahoo Calendar stopped syncing a few days ago (Sprint Pre 1.4.5). I tried removing the calendar and then re-adding it, but every time I try it says it's syncing, and 10-20 seconds later it says it's done but NOTHING got sync'd.

I've had the same problem with my Sprint Pixi.  The Yahoo Calendar stopped syncing new events this past week.  I removed Yahoo Calendar from my phone and then added it as a new account.  Now NO Yahoo Calendar events are on my phone, but all remain in my desktop Yahoo Calendar.  The phone goes through the motions if I manually sync, but no events appear.  This is a huge problem for my work schedule.  I went to the Sprint store today and was told it may be a problem with Palm.  I cannot seem to find any help.  Has anyone else had this issue or a solution?

As of 03/28/2011 my Yahoo calendar still fails to sync. Have tried everything I can think of and checked every forum I can find, but nothing solves the problem. It must be a HP-Palm and/or Yahoo issue.

Is anyone from HP-Palm listening? Can you at least tell us you're aware of the problem? If they don't monitor their own forums, does anyone know how to get their attention?

Like a lot of other users who got a Pre when it first came out, my 2 yr contract is up soon. I'd like to stick with Palm and WebOs for my next phone, but this type of silence doesn't help. Would be nice if HP-Palm met us half way.

rdotis, this forum is designed to be a peer-to-peer support forum.  Although there are a few HPalm CSR's hanging out here on their own time, it's designed to be users helping users.

My Yahoo calendar is syncing fine both ways.  I can create events on either my computer or my Pre2, and it shows up within seconds on the other device when I hit "Sync Now".  I am using an unlocked Pre2 on AT&T.  (Note: I did nothing on the Yahoo Calendar site, other than changing my Time Zone in Options.  It was defaulted to GMT+00:00)  I did not go through the "Set up Sync with your Mobile Phone".  I'm assuming when you set up a new event on the phone, Yahoo is shown in the top right corner, correct?  Is Yahoo your default calendar?

Mods here do monitor threads, and we do notify the powers that be when large issues pop up in the forum.  I'll see what I can do about the Yahoo issue.  Wish I had an easy answer for you!

Same here. I chatted and then talked with HPalm support. They said they are aware, and that I could check the issue status on the Palm support website, but I can find no evidence of it.

I'm wondering if it may have to do with the new Yahoo Calendar going off of beta, and them pulling the plug on the old calendar system.

I'm another one that can't get the Yahoo calendar to sync, on Verizon Pre Plus WebOS 1.4.5.  I've tried the delete/re-add and get nowhere.  I've just finished setting up a replacement phone (phone was replaced due to other issues) and can't get any events at all to sync from the desktop Yahoo calendar to the phone.

I hope someone at Yahoo or Palm is listening . . .

I am having this problem on my Verizon Pixi Plus. This must be because the Yahoo! Calendar went live. Anyone know if Palm is working on this? I was interested in the VEER if they bring it to Verizon this summer but if that doesn't happen or Synergy stops working with Yahoo! I guess I am going to a more common OS like Android or iPhone.

My wife and I are both having this problem with our Pre's. I chatted with an almost clueless Palm support dude (Martin) who said he would push my issue up the support stack. Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm having the same yahoo calendar sync problem with my Sprint Pre. Need a fix on this quickly.

Palm, please provide us a status on this BIG problem ASAP and advise on when we can expect a fix.
