Re: webOS 1.2 and IMAP Issue? -- SOLVED

Just wanted to let everyone in this thread know: it appears the issue has been fixed in webOS 1.3.1, which should be heading out to the public in a few weeks.  I've only been able to test on the emulator.

This is good news!

WHERE would a person get involved in a "beta test" program of future release candidates?  Even if it is only on the emulator, I would love to get involved.

This has been addressed in webOS update 1.3.1. Please respond to this thread if you are still seeing this issue.

Re: webOS 1.2 and IMAP Issue? -- SOLVED

I just got my new Palm, i have 3 accounts, 1 for palm primarily, 1 for my home email, and 1 for work related. The latter 2 are gmail, so there's no problem there with folders. But my first one, the address is from my own website domain, so i only see inbox, and outbox(but it doesn't keep the sent emails anyway). I set up the IMAP on my imac's Mail app, and set up the folders complete with sent, draft, and all. And I synced all but the emails do work, however the folders doesn't. I still have the greyed out Default Folders in my prefs. The sys is updated to webOS 1.3.1.

I don't know if this will help anyway, the website is hosted at 250host.com

Please let me know if something can be done, all that with fixes in earlier posts are too much for me to handle. Is there a simple way to fix this issue without using terminal or SSH?

Re: webOS 1.2 and IMAP Issue? -- SOLVED

I'm running a Pre on WebOS 1.3.5.1 and keep receiving the following error message when trying to setup my work IMAP account.  ERROR = "The server's security certificate has expired". Prior to downloading webOS 1.3.5.1 this IMAP account was working perfectly.  What's up?!  I'm VERY TIRED of f!@#@ w/ this phone. Please Please Please get my IMAP email working.

Re: webOS 1.2 and IMAP Issue? -- SOLVED

Just to iterate that another person had the self-signed cert problem.  I host my own email, use IMAP, and have a self-signed cert for SSL connections.  Prior to the last WebOS update I had no problems.  Today I had the issue where mail insists there is an unread message even though there was no unread messages.  I deleted the mail account and then tried creating it again.  But now I get the error message regarding the self-signed cert.  I can sign in with no ssl which I'm not thrilled about using but is the temp solution.  Any chance this will be fixed in the Feb WebOS update - namely mail support for self-signed certs?
