Bluetooth Sync with Win 7 and Z72

I have a New PC with Win 7 Home Premium and a Palm Z72. I cannot sync with USB Cable, but by installing a USB Bluetooth, I can transfer some files. I'd like to to a completer HotSync, but no luck. According to HotSync setup for Bluetooth, I am supposed to change HotSyns Serial Port selection to Virtual, but there is nothing to select. Make sense?

Re: Bluetooth Sync with Win 7 and Z72

When you installed the bluetooth adapter, did you use the CD that came with the adapter? If you did, you may want to remove the software and let Windows install the software. When the instructions refer to Vista, use the same method for win7.

In the instructions it states the following regarding the virtual serial port setup.

"For Windows Vista, select Next three times to skip the three steps for setting up a virtual serial port. Bluetooth synchronization on Windows Vista doesn't use virtual serial ports".
