Did you follow the tutorial and replace the files with the ones I provided? (Or edit the specified files?)
If so, you shouldn't get that error. If you are, the patch wasn't applied properly.

I really appreciate your advice and will check out phones with Windows or Android. When I inquired about the Android, the Verizon store told me it's more for someone who does a lot of texting, games and e-mail. Using my calendar, contacts, memos and tasks is most important for me. I must admit I am enticed by the iPhone but not if it requires a lot of hassle to get it to sync with Outlook 2010. I have to make a decision on a new phone unless I can get my Treo functioning reliably again. I'm thinking of uninstalling, then reinstalling Outlook 2003 and also trying a hard reset on the Treo. Before I tried to use Outlook 2010 a few months ago, the Treo was syncing with Outlook 2003 without any problems. Somehow I don't think the problem lies with the Treo... Anyway, thank you for the help!

In all honesty, if you want a true organizer and digital assitant of a phone, and don't mind upgrading from one "digital dinosaur" to another, I would suggest Windows Mobile 6.x instead of Windows mobile 7.
I have a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 phone, and I honestly think it does the best job filling in the professional gap that has been left after MS ditched Windows Mobile and Palm got sucked under. My phone has a customizable "home screen" that allows you to see all your emails, tasks, calendar items... everything at once. I would suggest either a Treo Pro if you can find one on Amazon or eBay, or something like an LG Fathom or HTC TouchPro2. I've had personal experience with all those and they all are nearly bullet proof. Instead of massive bugs needing to be patched every few weeks on them, there is one major bug that every company patches before sending out the phone.

Thanks for the hard work pizzaboy. Do you know if it'll work with an m515 running OS 4.14? Just switched to Windows 7 and Office 10. The m515 worked fine with Vsta and Office 7.

Can personally confirm it works. I have one on my desk still.

I tried both links below as suggested by Pizzaboy192, but neither is recognized by my computer. Is there another source for the files? My Outlook 2010 is not an upgrade from 2007. Do I still have to install the 2007 conduits?

I tried this. I edited both files and changed "12" to "14". However, there is no change in my sync problem. The process looks normal, and the message aet the end is success; however, data is not transferred from Outlook to the E2 or vice versa. Do you have any other ideas?
Cheers,
