I know that you cannot sync via win7 x64 on usb cradle. My laptop doesn't have bluetooth, but my laptop has a Nuvoton IR receiver built in, and the drivers are updated and device manager says its all good. I went to the acer website and re installed the drivers anyway. When I right click on the hotsync icon and try to change the connection type, IR is not even an option in the list. (serial, usb, network) IR will not show up for some reason. I have a treo 755p for sprint and palm desktop and hotsync are the latest versions. Not that it matters, but I use the conduits for outlook 2007. Would anyone have any idea why the IR option dosen't show up on the hotsync app in win? All the help I can get would be great.
