Hello,
I'm new here in this forum. Thanks to the inputs here, I'm able to sync my TX with my new Win7 (64-bit) computer.
It works pretty good with wireless.
The only problem I have, I can use it only on the Administrator Account. On my private Account, Palm Desktop will not start, calling me, that some notifier.dll are missing.
I really have no clue, why the Palm Desktop only works on admin account.... (During installation, I got the error message "Error in creating error file". I removed complete installation for a new setup, same things happen.)
Any ideas?

Hi, did you install the software only with the administrator account?
have you tried to install with your user account?
My setup works perfectly, but I'm using the administrator account all the time...

No, you cannot. This thread is for the TX only - the Centro does not have Wifi capability. You need to follow the other threads concernind syncing via BlueTooth to Vista64.

Following your instructions, I got hotsync working on 4-15-09 until today when it doesn't work anymore. Any idea what gives?
I contacted Palm vis chatting and was told that wi-fi sync is not stable and Palm would only support bluetooth sync'ing. Is this true?

Can you explain the following procedure?
If you are familiar with router settings, I'd highly suggest you set "Static IP's" (or sometimes called "Reservations" ) for both your Palm TX and the PC you're syncing with. It will make things much more reliable.
Thanks,
Joel

One more thing you might add to your detailed instructions. When Windows goes to sleep, my Hotsync loses its connection. It puts up some error message or other. When I open the hotsync settings, it says "No Connections Selected". When I try to select "Network" it just will not do it.
There are 2 workarounds - one is to restart Windows. Not terrible with the new speed of Windows 7, but painful.
Or if I stop Hotsync and then restart it, it comes back alive and lets me select the network.
I searched high and low and did not see that anyone had reported this as a problem.
I tend to leave the machine up all the time and let it go to sleep.
Thanks again for the initial wifi instructions.

Do you have similar instructions for connection using Blue -Tooth?
Thanks
