I have a new laptop with Windows 7. My hot sync starts up but then asks for a password. Either I never had a password or I have forgotten it. Please tell me what to do in a very simple language. Thanks so much!
Do you have a password on the device? If so this is what the hotsync is asking for. The password is for the hidden/mask records for contacts, calendar, tasks, and memos.
