PC / sync with google calendar via hotsync cable

I have a PC (Windows XP).  I want to sync my Palm Centro with google calendar via hotsync cable.  Reason for use of cable: I don't have a data plan.  Is it possible to do so?

Hi.. Welcome to the Palm forums.  Your Centro syncs thru palm desktop / hotsync manager to either palm desktop or outlook.  The only way to possible sync with a google calendar would be thru a 3rd party utility providing you can find one.  There may also be a way at google to export the calendar and then import it into outlook but that is an issue you will need to talk to google and microsoft or someone that has done this.

Palm needs to address their inability to sync with google calendar or they will put themselves out of the market.  I have spent hours trying to sycn palm desktop with google calendar.  I finely caved and went over to the droid so that I have google calendar on my mobile device.  Like the fellow above we have discovered data plans are not cost effective, especially when there are WiFi hot-spots everywhere.

When ever Palms fixes the desktop to Google Calendar problem, I'll be back.

Even the ability to import google to desktop would be a nice effort on palm part.
