jello32 - I've moved your question to a more proper section of the forum. Here you'll find your question has been asked (and answered) repeatedly.
Bottom line, view the thread at the top of this section about syncing a Z22 to Vista64. Win7 works similarly.

I don't think the same process for Vista will work for Win 7 as there are still no drivers for the Z22. Any more ideas? Thanks

When will Palm come up with driver for 64 bit Windows 7. Windows 7 has been on the market since October!
Most likely, Never.
As we have told countless users asking the same question here, Palm Inc. sold Palm Desktop to another company quite a while ago.
Access of Japan seems to have no desire to work with the program anymore since PalmOS has basically been discontinued in favor of webOS.
A workaround has been posted at the top of this section.

According to Palm, the only way to sync Z22 with Win 7 is to upgrade to a newer product such as Palm TX and then sync your info to the Palm Tx. You can then bluetooth the Palm TX with Windows 7. Palm is no longer making anything but the smart phones and that is an option also to upgrade to one of those first. I'm still not certain what to do, but may try to buy Palm TX (or any Palm product that is bluetooth capable I guess) and see if I can get my info moved to my new laptop with Win 7. Have to search the web for a Palm TX .. maybe Ebay or somewhere else. Anyone have more info on this ..maybe someone has tried this method? Supposedly per Palm, no other method will work for the Z22 as it is not bluetooth.

Baloney! Have you read the "Vista and Win7 sync instruction..." thread? The Z22 can sync via Infra Red (IrDA)!

After having read the agreement about posting I'm still not sure if I can post a web url here, but I did find a post from Wyrenut on another page that talked about a 64 bit palm driver from Aceeca that works. I was able to use a USB connection (after reading about infrared and bluetooth and deciding not to pursue them, as my laptop has neither built in) that worked. The caveat I have is that it didn't play nicely with the updated Palm software I installed, but does fine with Palm 4.2. Also, the instructions didn't quite match what I experienced, but they are close enough that you can probably work through the minor differences. Bottom line there is a driver out there that worked (so far) for me.
