SYNCHRONIZATION to Microsoft Outlook 2003...

I would also like to synch to Outlook, so I can transfer my Date Book, Address, and Memo Pad data to my Blackberry Torch 9810. I have the Palm 4.1.4 version and I have Outlook 2003. Do I have to change any of my settings of Outlook 2003? Can you PLEASE help?

I notice that on palmOne program from my Start Menu has the Option PIM conduit Sync:

1) Sync with Outlook and

2) Sync with Palm Desktop.

I regularly perform my synchronization with Hotsync Manager which defaults to my Palm Desktop on my laptop.  If I am to select the "Sync with Outlook" option, does that mean it will become my new default?  If so, how would I convert it back to be "Palm Desktop" synchronization (default)?

Thanks in advance,

Michelle

Re: SYNCHRONIZATION to Microsoft Outlook 2003...

You can use the PIM conduit sync tool to synch your Palm OS device to Outlook. You do not have to change any settings in Outlook.

After the data is in Outlook you can synch to Outlook with your other device.

After changing, Outlook will become the default until you switch back to PD using PIM conduit sync tool which will then become the default until you change the synch again.

For reference purposes, click on the following link for the support page for your device on the kb.hpwebos.com webpage.

There are links on the page to the user guide, troubleshooting, how to's, downloads, etc.
