Hi everyone,
I've installed Palm Desktop 4.1.4 in XP Mode in Win 7 Pro. The problem is that I can't perform Hotsync. I'm trying to locate my Tungsten E2 in Windows Virtual PC > USB but it doesn't show up even if my E2 is plugged via cable and turned on. I tried to restart xp mode but it still can't detect my device. What should I do? Hope you can help me asap. Thanks in advance.

Yesterday I tried connecting a Tungsten E via USB to a Windows 7 PC in XP mode. I installed the Palm Desktop version (quite old) of software in the XP mode desktop that had been successfully used on the previous PC with XP Pro. After connecting the USB cable the USB tab at the top of the XP Mode desktop still registered "no device found". After then tapping on the Hotsync icon on the Tungsten, the USB tab then showed Palm device and then you had to select "attach". However, after doing so, the Tungsten would not complete the Hotsync operation. I am hoping if I figure out how to get the Tungsten to be recognized as USB attached automatically between the Windows 7 environment and the XP mode, that the Hotsync operation will work when tapping the icon on the Tungsten.
