m505: can hotsync but no data transfered

I have a m505. cradle USB.

 

Since I am using Windows 7, I decided to use my VMWARE player and started a windows XP session. I then installed Palm Desktop 6.2.2 in vmware (xp). Then I was able to hotsync to my m505. It syncs, I see that Addess, contacts, etc are synced through the display and cash advance in the log. However, the address I added in Palm Desktop are not transfered to my palm. Same thing with the memo even if I see these are supposely synced through the log.

 

Any clue ?

You might need to install PalmHotsyncSetup from pimlicosoftware.com.

The database structures in older devices is different from version 6.2. The above software corrects the problem.

Also, 64bit drivers have been available since April of last year. See the "64bit Palm Desktop drivers are here!" thread at the top of this section.
