Wireless Email

I've just acquired a Palm Tungsten C, and use Windows XP Pro with Centurylink as ISP and Earthlink as email provider. My WiFi router is a Trendnet TEW-631BRP, about 3 feet away. I am not able to establish a connection, although the Palm spontaneously listed the router during the attempt. Am I out of luck with obsolete equipment, or is there a useful source of help?

The T|C can only use WEP as an encryption method, and 802.11/b speed.  What are your router's settings?

The T|C also suffered from a problem losing it's MAC address.  Check in the Wifi preferences to see if there is still a valid MAC address - not one that contains all zeros (00:00:00:00:00:00)
