Hello. Ever since updating to 1.3.1 my POP email account no longer stays in sync with the server. Previously mail deleted on the server would disappear from the inbox, but since 1.3.1 the mail just sits on the Pre forever until it is manually deleted. On precentral it appears others are having this problem as well. Anyone know a solution? The program still works but it is bogged down by the huge amount of email so it cuts into the functionality.

I had an online chat with Palm this morning about this issue. At first they seemed to think I just didn't understand how POP works. I was finally able to get through to them that this worked one way since the summer, and another way post-update. They said they are escalating to the engineers, and would get back to me within 48 hours.
If it happens, will report any and all results.

Agree on all points. I will be surprised if I hear back, but at least now they know of an error and hopefully with 1.3.2 it will magically come back.
I hate to sound overly-dramatic, but for such a small thing it has really made my user experience deteriorate. Email while away from the desk is a big use of my Pre.

Me 4 .... I had a long and frustrating chat session with Palm support this morning ... they insisted that what we had before with the Pre syncing with the server ( i.e. emails deleted on server were automatically deleted on the Pre) was wrong and now the system is working correctly ... you have to manually delete from the Pre.
This makes no sense ... it's a backward step. So much for synergy!
