repeated "Incorrect password for ****@Live.com" message for an account I've deleted from my phone!

I've had a MSN "Live" email account linked to my phone for over a year and occassionally I would get an error message that says "Incorrect password for ****@Live.com" but it would always correct tiself by the end of the day.

 

Now, I've switched my email provider to GMail and removed the Live account from my phone entirely but I am getting the same error message every half hour!!!  I've triple checked that the account is not listed under email accounts at all AND I've tried resetting my phone but still a problem.  Its been a week and it's driving me nuts!!! 

 

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I can't Sign in Failed >> because no WiFi icon in my phone>

Having the same issue with my gmail account. I have updated my phone. Restarted it and still keep getting the message.
