Hi there, i have a HP veer white for AT&T, which has been unlocked by a code sent by AT&T so that i can use it with service providers in India, but since it has been unlocked i am not able to send SMS and use the GPRS services from Airtel(i.e. my service provider), I dont have any problem in making or receiving calls and i can receive messages too, i also tried to enter my internet APN manually for once it saves those settings and displays Internet APN settings changed but whenever i go back to the edit network settings everything is erased and it automatically turns off the manual settings for data usage.
Coming to the SMS problem, whenever i send an SMS it displays error 38.
Any assistance with this problem will be highly appreciated.

P.S. The phone was bought from USA by my elder brother and maybe he created the Palm Profile there only using his AT&T sim.
