Hi folks !!!
I had this palm pre for more than 2 months never had any issues with the unit itself other than Bell service itself.
I lost my Data-connection for past 2 weeks, took it to the Bell service, unfortunately the person (bell agent) from whom I bought the deal, is pretty lousy in supporting. Contacted Bell, asked me to take it to nearest service locations of Bell, I was promised that my phone will be repaired or replaced within a week. It 2 weeks now and Ihavn't had a luck.
Did anybody of you faced the same problem or issues with palm-pre (lemon) peice.

Hmm this is odd...
You're saying that you have lost data services on the Pre but does the voice services still work? Getting signal and able to make calls? Haven't hit the limit of the data plan yet? Please breeze throught this KB article to see if it can resolve your issue:

Another thing is could you try ##evdo# on the dailer to see with the data services are set to hybrid and then save?? Sometimes this helps.

Fortunately,
I have unlimited datacoverage, through my employee plan. So it shouldn't matter. It does show EV but does not connect to any of the sites nor does it update the emails.
hmmm wait I was in developers mode which I enabled before going into preferences on the dialer.
Yes indeed it has been solved, the Bell service sucks... beleive me.. I took to the service centre there an so called expert fiddled with my cell phone and pulled out a repair order...
hurray !!!
problem solved.. no need to lick to bell ppl !!!

I don't have anything in the top right corner, i.e., EV, H, etc.
