I gave my friend my palm pixi after hard resetting the device. I put his att 3G gophone sim card in the phone turned it on to show him how it worked. It asked me to create a new palm account, I set up the account and submit and it says it cant get to the server because there is no internet connection. Then I try to call carrier and it takes me to a green unblock screen and tells me to call my carrier.
I spend over an hour on the phone with att and finally get a PUK a unlock code. None of the codes ATT provided work. The representative tells me to get a new sim card, so i get a new sim card. The same error occurs and yet again the PUK's ATT provided, do not work. This time the representative said the phone was toast. I have only entered in 5 attempts and I know you can enter up to ten attempts before bricking the phone. Also the phone was fully funtional up to this point.
Has anyone experienced this error? Are there any solutions other than buying a new phone?
