Hi,

I bought a used Palm Pre Plus and I entered the wrong codes somehow and now it is blocked. (I am not talking about unlocking the network). Would I need to contact Palm Pre Plus personnel to obtain a code to unblock the phone? thanks.

Hello speedygonpikach and welcome to the Palm forums.

I'm more familiar with Sprint's phones, which don't use SIM cards, but what codes did you enter that locked the phone?  Are you talking about a security password/pin number to secure lock/unlock the phone?

I'm having the EXACT same problem... I bought mine used on craigslist... The people at the AT&T store didn't know how to fix it, nor did 1st lvl or 2nd lvl AT&T tech support... or Palm tech support...

I already did a the WebDoctor repair thing, but it still comes up with "SOS Only" then asks for an Unblock Code.

I don't know if they hacked it somehow to use on T-mobile or whatever, but if/when I get mine figured out, I'll share here on what I did to fix it... if you could do the same I would appreciate it...

This happens when you enter the incorrect network unlock code 10 times.  The only resolution is to have the phone replaced.

So if you were a dumb person that bought a Palm Pre Plus on ebay that is asking for a unblock code you are pretty much screwed? ...Awesome...
