Re: Palm Pixi touchstone backcover peeling off

After further clarification the user of the phone further caused the problem. The cover started peeling on its own and the user didnt help the issue. This happened with the original cover but again happened with two other touchstone covers. Its's sad that a great operating system was ruined by inferior hardware

Re: Palm Pixi touchstone backcover peeling off

This happened to me with a factory cover only afer a month. Palm CS sent me another and it also failed . I was hoping that a Touchstone cover would be more durable.  I don need to use Touchstone charging . What is the solution (on of those hard cases sold on e-bay or what)?

Re: Palm Pixi touchstone backcover peeling off

The simple way to solve this is HP to start understanding that we are faithful and valuable customers. If Pixi (as well as the whole range of phones) isn't anymore their interest it isn't right to discontinue the production of cases - products that are obviously having a manufacturing problem.
More, as time passes, there will be more and more Pixi owners who will need new back covers but can't find any to buy. For sure this will conduct to frustration and finally the decision to migrate from this amazing OS.

Re: Palm Pixi touchstone backcover peeling off

This happened to my wife's Pixi as well.  I just ended up buying a new back cover for her Pixi off Ebay and it's worked well.

I don't know why anyone would want to buy another one. HP bought palm and dropped all support for the Pixi.

A slight correction. HP didn't drop support for any of the webOS products. They simply aren't making any new hardware. There is a very big difference between those two statements.
