I think what has been the common thread in all this, is that there is a corrupted profile/email/calendar account that is causing continuous sync issues.

Delete all your email and calendar accounts, you need to do this first, then do a backup to palm on the profile. Once that is done, webOS Doctor back to 1.3.1 (you probably will be safe at 1.3.5) and then"SLOWLY" and I mean slowly re-introduce each account (email from Google and Yahoo, etc) Same with contacts, slowly bring each back one at a time, with time between to see if it fails. Same with the Calendar. There is an account with some type of corruption, which I think by deleting all of them you remove that issue. Then by re-introducing them you should be back to good.

I have had excellent results with my phone now. I have the occasional dropped call, but I think my Airwave is bad in my house.

Well, thats whats really discouraging for me. From the launch day when the email sync was causing draining issues and killing the battery, I took my only linked account (my hotmail) off the phone. I never linked it back up.

And ever since I got the second phone I have never even tried to add any accounts other than my palm profile. I dont use the calendar at all, well except for a daily alarm...but no syncing with any calendar programs. No homebrews, dont even have my weather apps since the WebOS 1.3.1 rollback.

This has now been confirmed at work too. Plug it in to my computer, online 3 bars and EV icon...unplug...withing a minute the EV disappears, and then another minute and it is offline.

Sometimes its even worse...it freezes or locks up showing that I have Sprint connection and 4 bars...and then I call my number from another phone and it just rings on the other phone with no activity recieved on my phone.

So yeah, no idea how to take anything else off my phone.

Between this and Snowmaggedon, I am going crazy.

Wow, that moves beyond what I can think of a good answer. Palm or Sprint needs to step to the plate for you or Sprint needs to just trade the phone for a new BlackBerry or Android of your choice.

Yeah, it looks like soon I am going to have to bite the bullet and go into a store and have them work on the issue.

My biggest dread over it is going inside and all of the sudden it works fine and I cant duplicate the problem.

I really am trying to like this phone...and I have been able to get over not being able to use apps and the web and stuff...but when it fails to function as even a basic phone...its hard to accept.

Thanks for the responses...it helps to know that it may be something really specific to me and my phone.
