I'm fortunate enough to be the owner of a Pre 3 smartphone and, whilst I'm generally enjoying the experience, I've already come across what appear to be 2 bugs in the week or so of owning the handset.

1. It is not possible to change the order of your favourite contacts in the phone app.  Pressing and holding the contact to move as stated in the manual does nothing.

2. When composing a text message which spills over to a 2nd message (>160 chars), once the text dissapears from the top of the message, it is not possible to scroll back to review it.

Trying to get through to the HP Butler service is a mission with multiple cut-offs (deliberate?).

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

1. US are not supporting the Pre 3...  They've asked me to contact the UK support team, which I will do, when I get to the right time of day.

2. Haven't seen your problems, but I can't figure out how to turn on the front camera, and Skype settings are not available at all...

Will pursue the Butler team in the UK.  I am sure I can appeal to these guys for help.  I'll start with saying how loyal I am to the products.

This might help your first issue:

You need to choose a favortite number for that contact first.

Then you do the drag and drop.

I had the same problem moving people did not work the same kept on beeing posted downwards in the list.

Then I added a favorite number for that person and then I could move it.

it is not a bug it is a feature, lol.

Use the Option key (the big solid white key on the left of the keyboard), and while holding it down you can scroll with your finger to anywhere on the text field.

Great response.  Works beautifully.  It's a shame the Butler services guys didn't know about this!

I don't quite understand your answer.

My favourites are shown in alphabetical order and I can't change this by dragging and dropping.

I moved now to WebOS version 2.2.4 and I seem to be having the same problem, I can not sort my favorites anymore.
