Pre3 battery issue

My pre3 battery has been working just fine, but just yesterday it states that it only has 50% of its rated capacity.  (609 mAh instead of 1218 mAh)  Is there any way to reset or recalibrate the battery condition in a Pre3?

Maybe you can recalibrate with Dr.Battery which is available only through Preware.  I don't know if Dr.Battery works on Pre 3s or not.
