I have owned the Pre 2 previously. A solid device with webOS being the best mobile OS available in the market at the moment. But I had to return the device for two fundamental reasons - 1. the keyboard is in the wrong orientation for easy use. 2. the slide hinge is very weak and rattled.
Please Palm/HP do not release another device with the keyboard sliding out in portrait mode. Change the design now while you still can so that the slide-out works horizontally/landscape mode. i.e. the screen slides up when the phone is held horizontally in both hands.
This makes the phone much more usable for text messaging/browsing/typing with 2 thumbs rather than currently designed where the Pre 2 keeps slipping out of my hand. The keyboard is also wider.
