I also have purchased an unlocked palm pixi plus and my carrier is bell, I have the exact same problem as you activating the device and bell people are useless. What I did to activate mine is to borrow a rogers sim card from a friend with an android phone put it in and everything works great, palm profile went well and voice and data work. I then put my bell sim card back and it works but the internet still does not work, again a 2 hour phone call to tech support was unable to resolve my problem and they basically told me that this device was not supported since it wasn't a bell phone. I have since bought a palm pre bell phone from ebay and am waiting for it to come. I think there is no way to get internet working on an unlocked pixi plus with bell but it will probably work with any other canadian carrier, rogers for sure.
