I know that the Pre supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, but as far as the profiles, what version of HSP and HFP are in place? HSP version 1.1? HFP version 1.5? What about the other profiles?
Unfortunately this has not been released to us or the public. I can see if I can find any information on this for you. Is there a specific reason you need this information?

Thanks for the reply; the answer to your question is none other than to satisfy my curiosity! I'm looking at purchasing some bluetooth accessories and noticed that on some of them they had listed the version of their profiles in the specs. So now I'm wondering if the Pre is more compatible with certain bluetooth accessories than others.
I thought it might be that case. I will see if I can track down this information for you. But if it has not been released I doubt I will be able to find out much on this issue. The link in this post says that the Pre is supported by Honda/Acura car kits. I have a 2006 Acura TL with Navigation with a Hands Free Device system which worked on my Treo. Acura's testing now indicates that the Pre is NOT compatible with any Acura TL car kit from model year 2006 to 2010. I can attest to the fact that there are problems with the support. Frequently the Pre loses contact with the car kit and either Bluetooth or the phone has to be restarted to reestablish contact. Needless to say this is not practical while driving. Is there any hope that this will be addressed by Palm and the Pre will support these car kits?
