All Facebook contact images on my device - Palm Pre Plus / HP WebOS 1.4.5 - have disappeared, seemingly without cause.

The images for the factory installed contacts connected to the Palm profile itself remain.

Tried removing the Facebook account from the device altogether (Contacts/Calendar/Photos), deleted the Facebook app itself, restarted the device, then reinstalled Facebook and re-authorized account, but to no avail.

Any ideas as to possible causes and/or suggestions for addressing the issue (provided this isn't some sort of Facebook app glitch affecting all devices running WebOS 1.4.5)?

UPDATE:

Just came across a thread on HP WebOS Facebook Page wherein it is put forth that there is apparently some sort of Facebook/WebOS 1.4.5 interface error caused by selecting secure browsing setting (HTTPS) within one's Facebook account.

Deselected HTTPS checkbox, uninstalled contacts on device, then reinstalled, and issue was resolved.

So, did you have to leave your facebook account without the secure HTTPS setting? Or did you turn it back on after re-loading contacts? THANKS.
