Re: Failed app updates

FWIW, I'm seeing mention of the app catalog working now (which I confirmed just now by installing an app that wasn't working earlier).

Re: Failed app updates

The App Catalog is now working properly.

If you have any applications that failed to install during this time period, for each one:

1 - Open App Catalog, then tap the shopping bag icon.
2 - From the list, tap the app that failed to install (indicated by yellow triangle)
3 - From the app info screen, tap the "install failed" banner at the bottom
4 - Tap the "Try Again" button at the "Couldn't Install" dialogue prompt

Re: Failed app updates

If someone rolled back to April can now come out to the actual date with no problems:

This was posted on EP forums.

Can we now change the date to the correct date - or would it be better to keep it in April for a few more days to be on the safe side?

We appreciate your answer. Thanks.

Re: Failed app updates

Anachronistic, thanks for keeping on top of this, and for providing the status information while the problem was ongoing.

Re: Failed app updates

I have been having trouble with the app catalog since I updated to WebOS 1.4.1.1 a few days ago. When I try to upload an app, whether a FREE app, or one that I purchased, the "Downloading ..." bar appears at the bottom of the screen, but never makes any progress.

What can I try now? (I've tried changing the date on my Palm, but that made no difference.)

Re: Failed app updates

IzzeesMom, if you're still having this problem, your best bet would probably be to post it as a new issue on the Forum. The problem you're having sounds different from the one that prompted this thread, and this thread has been marked as solved, so fewer people may be looking at your post. Best, Stewart

Re: Failed app updates

Ditto that for me as well. Updates have failed to load for several weeks now. Any news about a fix?
