When trying to restore my HP TouchPad I get the option to log into my account when it initially boots up. After I log in it gives me the option to restore everything or just applications. When I choose everything it subsequently gives me the messaged that the restore failed with two further options:
1. Try Again
2. Start Over.
If I try again it fails again. If it starts over it takes about 5 minutes to reboot and I am back at the same place again.
It's a useless loop. Why?

I have looked at your webos acct., using your email address listed in your forum profile, and it shows there was a backup on 2-2-12 @ 10:08 AM that has no data. Something happend in the last backup that did not save your data, shows 0 for the data size. Not sure what happened but you will need to call the UK support number and we will need to push a backup snapshot to your acct. Once the acct. is reset back to 2-2-12 @3:56 AM you should be able to log-in to restore your data. That is the last good backup snapshot date and time and it shows 78906 for the data size.
Go to the HPWEBOS.com website. Select your country then select support. Look on that page for the support link and call the number listed for support.
