Strange behaviour on my Pre connected to 02 in the UK. If I launch the web browser and type a random word (not url) into the address bar, it defaults to a german version of Google. For example type test into the address bar, Palm converts this to a url of:
http://www.google.com/m/search?client=ms-palm-webOS&channel=bm&q=test
The page returned is a German Google page.
Do the same whilst connected to WiFi or Just typing a word into the Pre and selecting the Google option returns an English Google page, but this is using a different url:
http://www.google.com/m/search?client=ms-palm-webOS&channel=iss&q=test
So, it appears to me that when the first above search string is passed to Google via 02 in the UK Google is interpreting it as requiring a German page to be returned.
Anyone else seem similar behaviour or now how to fix the problem? Ideally I'd like Palm search to default to search google.co.uk.........
