Hi,

I have a Palm Pixi Plus with OS version 1.4.5.   I have been trying to do some "select", "copy" and "paste" feature on web brower.

However, I can't do it.  I pressed the "Shift" or Up arrow key, and then start selecting.  it doesn't work.

Is it a limitation on version 1.4.5?  can I do it on a WebOS 3.0 device, such as TouchPad ?

I just used my wife's Pixi to highlight and copy some text.  You are correct, press and hold the Shift key then tap text on the screen.  The text should highlight in yellow.  Now, release Shift.  Then Tap and hold the gesture area and C, to copy.  You should get a notification that text was copied.  Now go to where you want to paste.  Tap the screen to move the cursor in the correct spot then tap and hold the gesture area and V, to paste.

Thanks for your quick reply. I think I get it now. The "tap" on screen would automatically select the whole paragraph. I was trying to select a sentence within a paragraph.

Oh, I see what you mean.  My wife's Pixi also selects all the text.  In that case you could paste the paragraph into Memo and edit it, then copy the edited text.

Oh i see.. It just needs editing huh... sad and time consuming.. well is there no other way?

No other way that I know of on the Pixi.
