I had the Facebook app on my phone, but I needed to delete it, but I was going to reinstall it later. However, right after I deleted it, my phone restarted. And now when I go into the App Catalog and try to download Facebook, nothing happens. I can't cancel (X) the download, and no progress is made. Bar just stays empty. Any solutions?
Thanks,
Jake

Make sure you've got a recent Backup (check backup app) and then do a Full Erase (Device Info, Restart options). This will wipe your phone but if you're backed up the restore process is relatively quick and painless. You just have to sign back into your profile and wait for your apps to be restored, then re-enter your account passwords for all your accounts. You should then be able to download the facebook app again and it should work.
If not, you will have to run webOS doctor (http://www.palm.com/rom). This basically means the same restoration steps as the Full Erase.
Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes!

Thank you so much, I will try that. I did try using webOS Doctor, but didn't follow though. But I didn't think of using the old Backup app. Thanks again.

I did this during the day today (over 3G, so my battery was sucked up) but it did end up working.
Now I just need to get my Preware & Homebrew apps back, esp. Internalz and Preware itself.
Thank you for finding a solution,
Jake

Thank you for posting this. I had the exact same situation occur. I spoke with Sprint support tonight and we couldn't resolve so they put a ticket in with the Facebook app developer. I'll try this solution and let you know if it works for me as well!
